The Silver Comet Trail is located 13 miles northwest of Atlanta, Georgia and travels west through Cobb, Paulding and Polk counties. 60 miles total, but can be broken into shorter sections. Catalooche rests in the Great Smoky Mountains and features the longest ski season in North Carolina. Catalooche opens in November and is expected to be open until late spring.
